One excellent way to celebrate International Women’s Day this year is by attending the Make It Happen event in support of the Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie.

Whether you can be there at Make It Happen or not, let’s all remember International Women’s Day on March 8.  We can be proud of women’s many achievements, while we recognize how much must yet be done before all are truly equal, men and women.  And above all, let’s celebrate all the women who have enriched our lives in countless ways.
